At GAEE, we believe that everyone should have the opportunity to learn about economics, financial literacy, and entrepreneurship – subjects that are increasingly important in today’s world. That’s why we work tirelessly to democratize access to these subjects, offering a range of programs and initiatives to students in marginalized communities and developing countries around the globe.

But our commitment to democratization doesn’t stop there. We also believe in bringing that spirit of accessibility and inclusivity to the broader education community. And that’s exactly what our members at the GAEE chapter at Indraprastha College For Women (IPCW) did recently, when they organized a textbook drive and fundraising campaign in association with Project Noor as part of the ARGHA’22 donation drive.

Our chapter members at IPCW worked hard to collect and donate textbooks to underprivileged students in the area, ensuring that they had the resources they needed to succeed in their studies. In addition to collecting and donating these important materials, our members also raised funds to support these students in their educational endeavors.

“It’s not how much we give, but how much love we put into giving!” said the chapter leaders.

This textbook drive and fundraising campaign is just one example of the many ways in which our GAEE members are making a difference in their communities. From organizing conferences and webinars with leading economists to hosting business case competitions, our members are always looking for ways to bring the benefits of economics education, financial literacy, and entrepreneurship to those who might not otherwise have access.

At GAEE, we believe that education is the foundation upon which a more equitable and inclusive future can be built. And by bringing the spirit of democratization to education as a whole, we hope to play our small part in creating that future. By supporting underprivileged students through initiatives like this textbook drive and fundraising campaign, we can help to level the playing field and give everyone the opportunity to succeed.

We’re so proud of the efforts of our GAEE IPCW chapter members, and we’re grateful for their dedication to democratizing access to education for all. Together, we can make a real difference in the lives of students around the world, and help to create a brighter future for us all.
