After three years of an impactful partnership, the Seoul Center of the Global Association of Economics Education (GAEE Seoul) is ending its affiliation with GAEE International to launch GoCambridge Seoul, a separate educational organization based in Seoul in partnership with the Cambridge Centre for the Integration of Science, Technology and Culture (CCISTC). The center will continue its important work under the name GAEE Seoul before full transition into GoCambridge Seoul by the end of 2021.
Since 2020, the Seoul Center has been in close collaboration with CCISTC to offer research and internship opportunities for underprivileged and aspiring students in South Korea in the field of economics, political sciences, and business under the mentorship of professors and lecturers at the University of Cambridge. With the transition into GoCambridge Seoul, the Center will be able to focus its full resources on offering more academic opportunities for students in a wider range of disciplines that would normally fall out of the scope and mission of GAEE, such as life sciences and technologies. GAEE International is excited about this transition and seeks to continue our strategic partnership with the Seoul Center in the future.
