E-Sports industry is one of the industries with huge growth potential. It is a form of competition involving video or computer games and is frequently organized as multiplayer game competitions. In the fall of 2018, 99 million television and online viewers tuned in to watch the League of Legends 2018 World Championship Finals. The 2018 Super Bowl, regarded as the gold standard for sports viewership, was viewed by 103 million people. This shows just how E-Sports has become competitive over the years. E-sports has become so popular that stadiums are being constructed for the more popular events, such as the Overwatch League. The 2019 Fortnite World Cup was played in Arthur Ashe Stadium, home of The US Open, and similar E-Sports events sell out arenas, such as New York’s Madison Square Garden and LA’s Staples Center. E-Sports’ rapid rise is unsurprising given these instances.
